The Blonay-Chamby railway museum has been operating since 1968 and pursues the following main objectives:

Operate the Blonay to Chamby line as a tourist attraction with historic trains;

Provide members the opportunity to cultivate their shared interest in railways, collaborate in train operations, engage in leisure activities, and enjoy the benefits offered by the society;

Save railway equipment of significant technical or historical interest that was destined for disappearance;

Encourage regional tourism and excursion traffic on adjacent lines. The financial resources of Blonay-Chamby rely on ticket and souvenir sales, donations, support from district municipalities, and member contributions

The amount received is entirely used to cover the operating costs of the Railway Museum and the routine maintenance of its vehicles.

Blonay-Chamby is entirely based on volunteerism to maintain, restore, and operate one of the most comprehensive historic railway collections in Europe, providing a unique opportunity for all visitors to relive the sensations of Belle Epoque travel.
